Multi-mission hydro-oceanographic vessel stabiliser BHO2M - PIRIOU
This order, made by the shipbuilder Piriou, concerns a 72m multi-mission hydro-oceanographic vessel stabiliser. The new vessel of the Royal Moroccan Navy will indeed be equipped with the passive system SIRE to ensure its stability without any emission of CO2. Delivery expected in 2018.
The BHO2M is a state-of-the-art scientific vessel capable of long operations, at high speed and in all sea conditions. It is derived from the design of the Multi-Missions Buildings (B2M) built in Concarneau for the French Navy. Its missions are varied, mainly hydrographic and oceanographic.
